Woodland Field Charity is the committee responsible for running the premises on the site known as The Log Cabin and The Pod, both hubs are for the benefit for all community activity in our area.
Woodland Fields Charity is a unique project and is more than just a venue, it’s the beating heart of our community. Since opening, it has been a place where people come together to learn, celebrate, and connect.
In 2009, construction of the state-of-the-art Neighbourhood Learning Centre (The Log Cabin) was completed. Representing both beauty and functionality, the centre was built to make a real difference locally. Its vision has always been to positively engage with the community by offering opportunities that reduce crime and antisocial behaviour, while promoting education, sport, and personal growth.
Today, Woodland Field Charity continues this mission: creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space that strengthens community spirit, supports wellbeing, and improves lives.
